Warranty

From the date of purchase, all PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC. products are fully guaranteed for a period of one (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship. Unless otherwise stipulated during the original quotation and order confirmation process.

WARRANTY COVERAGE – END USERS

• No travel charges will apply for any warranty service on products supplied directly by PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC.
• Standard electrical components: approved warranty claims will be covered for parts only.
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) components are subject to manufacturer approval, and if required, must be returned for manufacturer inspection.
• Electrical motors for hoists, trolleys, and bridge drives must be repaired exclusively by PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST for warranty approval.
• Custom-fabricated parts are not covered under warranty.
• Wearable parts are not covered under warranty, including but not limited to:
  • Wire ropes
  • Load chains
  • Brake linings and discs
  • Sheaves and rollers
  • Contactors, fuses, and relays
  • Hooks (subject to normal wear, deformation, or throat opening)
  • Gaskets, seals and other consumable components

WARRANTY CONDITIONS – END USERS

• Prior to any repair or alteration, written approval from PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC. is required, and a completed warranty claim form must be submitted.
• No credit will be issued for defective parts. Replacement parts will be shipped subject to warranty inspection.
• Labour reimbursement will be paid at a pre-set rate as agreed upon between PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST and the end user.
• “Parts-only” warranty coverage means replacement of the defective part only. The warranty form must be completed, and the damaged part returned after the replacement is shipped.
• For major issues (e.g., chain, steel casting, housing, or hoist body failures), the hoist must be returned prepaid to PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST for inspection and repair. If warranty applies, the repaired hoist will be returned prepaid.

WARRANTY COVERAGE – AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS

• Standard electrical components: approved warranty claims will be covered for parts only.
• VFD components are subject to manufacturer approval, and if required, must be returned for manufacturer inspection.
• Electrical motors for hoists, trolleys, and bridge drives must be repaired exclusively by PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST for warranty approval.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not extend to any loss or damage caused by:

• Misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification.
• Use beyond rated capacity.
• Improper installation or maintenance.
• Unauthorized repair work or alteration.

LIMITATIONS

• If, during the warranty period, the hoist does not operate properly, PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC., at its sole discretion, will repair or replace the non-conforming portion.
• Repairs and replacements are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
• PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC. does not warrant or guarantee components of products provided by other overhead crane manufacturers.
• PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC. reserves the right to refuse freight charges.

This warranty replaces and is in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, provided by PROLIFT CRANE AND HOIST INC., its employees, or sub-suppliers.
